CHAKRA ENERGY PROFILE

You will also each receive an Energy Profile review based on your birthdate following the Yantra Yoga system. This will help you understand your energy make up, and mental and emotional tendencies, so you can learn how best to respond to personal challenges and weaknesses and to build on your strengths. In addition, you will learn where you are in your life cycle following a 9 year numerological cycle. This helps balance your life purpose and actions according to a yin or yang year cycle, and living life with greater flow and ease!

YOGA is an ancient system of inner and outer practice for more balance in all aspects of life. It is a well tested tradition that provides an inner technology to recalibrate your physical, mental, emotional and energy bodies so you feel more complete as a Spiritual Being in a human body.

RETREAT FEE

* EARLY BIRD RM 700 ~ Register and pay a 50% deposit by 15 Nov. 2018. Full payment by 15 Dec. 2018.

* Special RM 750 – After 15 Nov. 2018, register with a 50% deposit and make full payment by 15 Dec. 2018.

* Normal Rate RM800 – After 15 Dec. 2018, register with full payment by 10 Jan 2019.

 

 IMPORTANT NOTE: 

  • Retreat Fee includes all meals and materials. A 50% Deposit is required to register. 
  • Wholesome meals: All meals are vegetarian with vegan option.
  • Please bring your own yoga mat and any other support you require for the period of the retreat, eg. yoga blocks, meditation cushion and a shawl for chilly mornings and evenings.

ROOM CHARGES

Room charges are separate from the Retreat Fee and depending on type of accommodation you choose:

* Double sharing: RM240-315 per person for 2 nights (depending on room type);

CANCELLATION POLICY

TRANSPORT UP THE HILL

Jeep service up the hill to Hickory Bungalow will be organised for those wanting a jeep ride up and back down the hill. The cost of the whole jeep is RM200 both ways and will be an additional cost. Four to five persons can fit into the jeep depending on the amount of luggage so you can share out the cost of the jeep among yourselves. You will need to inform the organiser ahead of time if you wish to hire the jeep service so we can group people together at the same time. We will arrange for participants to meet at the Botanical Gardens Friday afternoon (time to be determined). The same will be arranged for the group at the end of the retreat to return on Sunday late afternoon or early evening.

If you prefer to take the funicular train up to Hickory Bungalow, you will need to get off at the Lower Tunnel Station and follow the sign for a 5 minute walk. Note that the trains can be busy during the weekends and potentially on a Friday afternoon given that Monday 21 Jan is a public holiday. Give yourself ample time to get the train up. It is advisable that you start your journey from the foot hill at least 2-3 hours before our meeting time at 5pm. All ticket purchases require proof of identification.

A Community Service Meditation led by Tristen Churn in collaboration with Sarah-Joy Amin of Chakra Yoga & Energy Healing, Sherrie Low and Krisztina Mezosi.

 

We are a collective of Light workers based in Malaysia wanting to offer our community service during this changing/ challenging period of Covid-19, by collaborating to hold a free half hour online meditation weekly to support anyone in need of calm, balance, peace and perspective. Since not everyone can avail of healing sessions, counselling or other forms of support, one way is to connect in a calm, serene meditative space. This will be our 9th week offering the free meditation as a service to all in Malaysia and friends from anywhere around the world who can benefit.

Each week’s meditation is being led by a different Light worker facilitator so we bring you different styles of meditation as well as variety for you to experience divine energies in new ways!

This week Tristen Churn will be leading the meditation to honour the special energy period of the Summer Solstice, Solar Eclipse and the New Moon all happening around 20-22 June. At the same time, 5 planets are in retrograde: Saturn + Venus + Jupiter + Mercury + Pluto urging us to Release the Old Self e.g. old n destructive thoughts, habits, behaviors etc.  In this meditation Tristen will guide us to welcome and cultivate a new and constructive way of thinking, new habits and behaviours. He will be working with Goddess Kuan Yin, goddess of compassion and karmic healing, and the ancient Greek God Apollo, a solar god of strength and positivity. 

If you like to work with crystal energies, then please have with you a black, white and pink crystal. It’s alright not to have the required crystals as the God, Goddess and the planetary energies are available for us to tap into during our meditation. It would also be helpful to have a candle lit for the meditation.

DESCRIPTION:
 
Join a three-part workshop series online to learn about the 7 personal chakras, the energy vortexes that support your physical and energetic bodies, as well as the corresponding breath techniques to enhance all 7 chakras.
 
Most basic energy healing traditions use the chakra system as a starting point or reference standard. While different esoteric traditions have slightly different energy and chakra systems, the most common is the yogic system of the 7 chakras, also more frequently used in New Age healing modalities.
 
The chakras are closely connected to and have an impact on your physical, mental and emotional bodies. Physically the chakras are connected to your endocrine system, glandular functions, nervous system, and all your major specific organs.
 
Learning to work with your chakras is a first step to keeping your all your four bodies clear as there is a strong inter-relationship between healthy, balanced and active chakras with a healthy, balanced and vibrant physical, mental and emotional state.
 
For each chakra, you will learn about its nature, its energy quality and element, and the corresponding mental-emotional characteristics that go with either an underactive or overactive chakra. You will also have some practice time to experience the chakras including homework between each workshop session.
 
The course will be divided into three parts (See below). Each week we will have a theoretical introduction with questions and answers after each chakra section and a mini-practical session at the end of the session.
 
The content for each week is as follows:
a) Week 1 – 21 Feb 2021: We will cover the first two chakras: Muladhara (Root) and Swadisthana (Sacral) chakras.
 
b) Week 2 – 28 Feb, 2021: We will cover the third and fourth chakras: Manipura (Solar Plexus) and Anahata (Heart) chakras with a brief review the first two chakras from week 1.
 
c) Week 3 – 7 March 2021: We will dive into the higher fifth, sixth and seventh chakras: Vishuddha (Throat), Ajna (Third Eye) and Sahasrara (Crown) chakras, also after a brief review of Manipura and Anahata chakras.
 
In addition, each week you will learn a corresponding breath technique that enhances the relevant chakra groups. In the third week, you learn to combine all three breath techniques into a Three-part complete breath that will enhance energy flow to all 7 chakras, with the added benefit of maintaining a healthier physical, energetic and spiritual body.
 
With this three-part Chakra workshop series, you will not just learn the basics of the chakras but also have a foundation for learning any Chakra Energy Healing modality in the future, as well as prepare yourself for
Chakra Yoga practices.
 
Beginning energy healers, serious yoga practitioners and yoga teachers especially will benefit from this basic introductory course on the chakras as you will also learn how yoga and certain asanas are connected to certain chakras.
 
Those interested in further developing their higher dimensional Energy systems would benefit from first having a good grasp of the seven chakras as a foundation for understanding and activating your Higher non-personal chakras, which are part of your Multi-dimensional Being.
 
While information on the 7 chakras are easily available on the internet, learning about them with a guide who has been working with the chakra system in various healing modalities and through the Chakra yoga system for some years will be personally more beneficial.
 
WHAT YOU WILL BE PROVIDED WITH AND WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
 
* You will want to have a notebook and something to write with. If you like working with crystals you can also have with you the relevant coloured crystals for the chakras we are covering. This is not essential, however. The HEART SPACE has the basic tumble crystals should you wish to purchase any.
 
* Basic notes on the 7 chakras will be provided to you at the start of the course.
 
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
 
Sarah-Joy Amin is a Transformation Teacher, Chakra Yoga instructor, Inner Dance facilitator, Energy & Voice-Sound healer and more recently trained in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. Based in Penang, Sarah-Joy has been on the spiritual path for over 20 years, starting with Buddhism in the 1980s, then expanding into yogic practices and a Oneness approach to spirituality from 2010 onwards.
 
In 2013 Sarah-Joy did her teacher training in the Chakra Yoga Tradition at the Pyramid Yoga school in Thailand (see http://www.pyramidyoga.com/aboutus/). In Dec. 2013, she completed the 108 hour Yoga for Healers course deepening the healing and chakra energy aspect of her yoga practice. Her main teacher, David Goulet, is a yogi with over 50 years’ experience in the nine forms of Yoga. Sarah-Joy also trained with Solara-Anra, a global spiritual teacher, in 2016 on the Multi-dimensional Chakra Healing system with channeling.
 
Sarah-Joy has been offering Chakra Yoga and a variety of Chakra Energy and Sound Healing sessions since 2014. In 2021, Sarah-Joy is graduating from Metavision Institute in Australia with a post-grad professional training in Holistic Counselling & Psychotherapy.

Qigong is an ancient Chinese qi (vital energy) practice method, a way of cultivating and experiencing energy to enhance health, healing as well as developing spiritual awareness and insight. Through the practice of qigong you will learn how to harness the power of qi from the universe, remove blockages from body and mind and techniques for self-healing.

 

Dance Your Life into Being. Through conscious movement you will let go of the past, release what is not supporting you and welcome the new. Create your future by setting intentions and expand into who you really are. You will be guided through a flow of music where your focus stays within. When you move your body the energy shifts inside, bringing ease and liveliness into your dance and being.

FACILITATORS’ PROFILE

Suzanne and Ken Morgan are originally from UK and have been living happily in Penang for over 8 years. They were obviously destined to be together and met in India while doing a 6 month Yoga Teacher Training in 1998/99 in the Swami Gitananda lineage. In fact, before meeting, they already shared a great interest in health and alternative medicine, studying several systems between them.

After teaching yoga for a few years and both having curious minds, they decided to explore Chinese Medicine, completing a Bsc. (Hons) Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) at Salford University, UK from 2003-6. They set up an acupuncture clinic which they ran before deciding to move to Malaysia. They both had an interest in Qigong, studying Wild Goose Qigong with Bingkun Hu from 2005-8 on his yearly visits to the UK, although Ken had been studying qigong since the 1970s.

Whilst in Penang, they were introduced to Zhineng Qigong and after two years of regular practice went in March 2019 to China and completed a 3 month Daohearts Teacher Training in the first, second and advanced levels of Zhineng Qigong. Suzanne and Ken are both passionate about health and wellness and are always happy to share their many years of knowledge with you.

Sarah-Joy Amin is a Transformation Teacher, Chakra Yoga instructor, Inner Dance facilitator and energy worker. A whole new decade confronts us in opportune ways! Be a Creator or a Victim of change?

The world over, astrologers and ascension teachers are speaking about 2020 as a major portal to our inner and outer revolution /evolution– one that breaks away from past patterns that entrap us in powerlessness, pain and a habitual way of life that often obstructs us from realising our highest potential and creations. Astrological shifts in 2020 and for the decade to come are forcing massive changes upon us whether we like it or not. We either choose to be Masters of change, or continue to let life happen to us as unconscious subjects. The choice is ours!

This workshop with extended meditation will guide each of us to be more aware of what needs to be released and changed starting in 2020 and continuing on for the years to come. With planets Pluto and Saturn conjunction on 12 January 2020, and their energies staying for the year, it is timely to ride this major astrological wave of deep transformation. Saturn requires breaking down old control structures, and enables a slow rebuild of life with new and stronger foundations; while Pluto is about deep psychological wounds and patterns that are ready to surface for acknowledgement, clearing and transformation. Will you choose to enter this portal of deep and long-lasting change prepared?

Many other astrological features are also happening at this time in January and in the months to come in 2020/2021 that are supporting the breaking away of old authority structures, and a restructuring of outer control and inner psychical structures. While this is not a workshop on astrology it is helpful to know what are the cosmic energies of the times and work with these big energies to liberate yourself from control patterns that keep you in 3D lower dimensional ways of living.

Choose to Step up to 2020… The workshop will be in two parts:
a) First to identify old patterns and mental-emotional structures that you need to release and transform; and

b) Second, with deep awareness and sound commitment we undergo a guided meditation to open ourselves to receive new supportive energies for change. These include the divine feminine energies of deep Receptivity and Connection to Source; Strength, Wisdom and Perseverance to see what needs to change and let them go; and deep Love of self, other and the planet for true change and long-term shift into 5D or a higher consciousness.

We will be supported by the divine energies of goddesses Durga/Sekhmet; goddesses Gaia/Demeter; goddesses Hathor/Aphrodite! The meditation will include an upgrade of the chakra system introducing the 13 chakra system. This will be done through new Light and Sound codes supported by my guides and higher Self.
